1. Basic Policy

The Company also establishes internal rules concerning the protection of personal information (hereinafter, “the Company Rules”), implements and maintains them, and strives to improve them on an ongoing basis.
• The Company establishes a management structure for the protection of personal information, communicates the Company Rules to its officers and employees, and strives to ensure that they are fully observed.
• The Company handles personal information within the scope of the purposes of use that have been made clear to the customer. In addition, the Company will not disclose or provide personal information supplied by a customer to any third party, except where the customer has given consent or where there is a legitimate reason to do so.
• The Company keeps personal information accurate and up to date, strives to prevent unauthorized access to personal information as well as the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, and continuously carries out improvements and corrective measures relating to information security.

• Notwithstanding (1) above, where the Company determines that it is appropriate for its affiliated companies or agents to handle the provision of services to a customer or the response to inquiries and the like, the Company may provide the customer’s address, name, telephone number, and other such information to those affiliated companies. In such cases, the customer may request that the Company stop providing their personal information to those affiliated companies.
